Struck by The Perth Mint from 1/10 troy ounce of 99.99% pure gold, the 2026 release features a new portrayal of a kookaburra in flight and has a maximum mintage of just 15,000 coins.
The reverse portrays a kookaburra in flight over a river, surrounded by lush trees and rugged rocks. The design also includes the inscription KOOKABURRA, The Perth Mint's P mintmark, weight, purity and 2026 year-date.
The obverse features the Dan Thorne effigy of King Charles III together with the coin's monetary denomination.
