Brisbane Bullion is proud to present the 2022 1oz Wombat Silver Coloured Coin from The Perth Mint.
One of Australia's iconic marsupials, the wombat is a sturdy quadruped found in forested, mountainous and heathland areas of eastern Australia and Tasmania. With powerful limbs and sharp flat claws, it is ideally built for digging. At up to one meter in length, it is one of the largest burrowing animals in the world.

The coin’s obverse features a coloured representation of one of Australia’s best-known marsupials – the wombat. As well as the inscription ‘WOMBAT’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the reverse includes the coin’s weight, purity and 2022 year date.
Each coin’s reverse includes a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter within the design. It is only detectable under a magnifying glass. Lettering: ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA ∙ 1 DOLLAR ∙ IRB.
